The imagery of alchemy is found all over the world.
— Carl Jung

The backdrop: Australia, the beautiful and charming seaside town of Adelaide, Australia, and its neighboring Kangaroo Island, a sanctuary for wildlife and natural, rugged beauty, to explore alchemy’s connection to nature.

Join us on an alchemical journey along this path of inner transformation. Each day we will explore a particular stage of the alchemical process of transformation through lectures, practices, discussion, exploring our Southern Australia stunning landscapes and surroundings, and experiential work. Mornings begin each day with a dream circle Social Dreaming: Alchemical Dream Matrix ©. After this, we immerse ourselves in the psychological dimensions of alchemy. We will discover how to engage with alchemical imagery and expand our imagination. We also will embody alchemy through a series of practice exercises. In the afternoon, we venture out into the beautiful surroundings of Adelaide, Australia, exploring Nature’s own Alchemy. Throughout the week, we will experience each stage of the Alchemy journey in mind, body, and spirit including the mandala, the ultimate archetypal symbol of inner and outer wholeness. The ultimate goal of the week is for you to experience Alchemy and be able to use it in your daily life and practice.

Our week-long travels conclude by engaging with nature’s rugged beauty in an optional journey to Kangaroo Island. While a short distance off the coast, Kangaroo Island seems a world away.’ Our expedition combines encounters with the island’s wildlife (kangaroos, seals, koalas, and wallabies) in their natural habitat and iconic landscapes while also sampling nature’s fine flavors and gastronomy of Kangaroo Island!

About Alchemy:

Western Alchemy is a powerful pathway providing means to transform ourselves from a state of separation to one of wholeness. The psychologist Carl Jung realized that Alchemy is not just an old attempt to physically transmute lead into gold, but more importantly a spiritual and psychological practice for inner transformation. Jung saw that alchemical images and texts described how we can transform an inner state of psychological chaos working slowly through a series of steps to experience a state of inner balance and wholeness.

Alchemy represents the projection of a drama both cosmic and spiritual…
